Blog your weight away

An article in Healthy Food Guide recently cited a study from Stanford University, USA as claiming that you can lose weight by spending 15 minutes a day focussing on something that is important to you.

A group of women were asked to write about their priorities in life for 15 minutes a day, while another group were asked to write about something that didn't matter to them.

The result?  The group that wrote about their milestones and achievements lost, on average, 3.4lbs.  The group who wrote about stuff that didn't matter to them gained, on average, 2.7lbs.

The waist-watching boffins concluded that by writing about things that make us happy and celebrating our successes help dampen our appetite.

I wonder whether blogging about Banoffee Pie will have the desired affect.
